In July 2012, Yahoo! their online publishing service "Voices" was compromised via an SQL injection attack. The hack exposed nearly half a million usernames and passwords stored in clear text. The breach found that 59% of people who also had accounts in the Sony leak reused their passwords on both services. In 2012, such analytics were still relatively new.
